Tuesday 2 August – 1.30 pm to 3 pm (afternoon only)
Wednesday 3 August – 10.30 am to noon

* Maximum number per session = 10 children. Please book tickets for both children (£6 each) and accompanying adults (free).

* activities are suitable for ages 3-11. Under 8s must be accompanied please.
* each session will last approx. 1½ hour.
* the room will be cleaned between sessions.

Males great bustards perform spectacular courtship displays, gathering at a ‘lek’ or small display ground to try to impress the females.
The great bustard has a dignified slow walk but tends to run when disturbed, rather than fly.
The hen-bird on display at The Salisbury Museum was one of the last great bustards to be eaten in the town!
