Summary: 1 Roman radiate coin of Valerian I, struck at Rome. Part of a hoard of 3584 late Roman coins found inside a greyware pottery jar at Manor Farm, Alton Barnes, Wiltshire. Found by Mr C May while using a metal detector in August 2005, and declared as Treasure Trove

The great bustard has a dignified slow walk but tends to run when disturbed, rather than fly.
The hen-bird on display at The Salisbury Museum was one of the last great bustards to be eaten in the town!
