Last year, the team at Poole Museum worked on climate change projects with more than 33 families from the Dorset Goes Wild Facebook group. They also organised their largest ever Museum Take-over day attended by 22 young people. Many of the participants had never visited the museum before.
It was heart-warming to see them all in action and hopefully this exhibition captures the moments that inspired these future eco-artists and scientists!

Males great bustards perform spectacular courtship displays, gathering at a ‘lek’ or small display ground to try to impress the females.
The great bustard has a dignified slow walk but tends to run when disturbed, rather than fly.
The hen-bird on display at The Salisbury Museum was one of the last great bustards to be eaten in the town!
